Nu is a pottery-making solution designed to empower serious hobbyists in pottery-making to unleash their full creative potential. By making the process more accessible and enjoyable, potters can take advantage of Nu’s three key features - a 3D visualizer feature, an AR pottery guide and a digital library of glazes for users to reference.

3D Visualizer


The 3D visualizer feature in the Nu app allows potters to plan and design their pots before making.

With the wide variety of tools, glazes and presets available, users can virtually experiment and try out any design or technique they want without having to physically commit to a single one.




AR Pottery Guide


Once users have designed their pottery, they can seamlessly transition to the next key feature - Nu’s AR pottery guide. The user’s design is translated into a detailed set of step-by-step instructions using AI technology.

By syncing the app with a pair of Nu AR glasses, these generated instructions will be projected onto the clay surface, giving users real-time guidance as they work on their pottery. For users who do not have the AR glasses, they have the option to download and print out the set of instructions to follow.



Glaze Library


To help inspire users’ creations, Nu also offers a digital library of glazes for users to reference.

A scanning feature allows users to scan a pot and identify the closest glaze being used. This allows potters to easily access and learn more about a wide variety of glazes without the need for extensive research and guesswork. Equipped with a database of glazes, users can refine their glaze techniques and improve their creations over time.
